I like the food here (especially during Restaurant Week when the portions and prices are a bit more palatable), but I find Brasserie to be very uncomfortable. Perhaps it is the stainless steel vibe - or the cafeteria glow that seems to come off of the clean edged furniture. I sometimes feel like I am eating in a restaurant of the future and it is a future world that I don't like.
The desserts are worth the trip, though. If you come for nothing else (as I've said, I could pass on the decor as well as the entryway), come for some chocolate cake.
