The one flaw to Tal Bagels is that they won't toast your bagel. To be fair, their bagels don't need toasting because they are so delicious on their own you can even skip the schmear (but you don't because it is so darn good). But sometimes I like a toasted bagel. So I bring it home and toast it there.
They also offer salads, spreads, juice, coffee - typical fare for a good bagel place. The BEST thing about Tal (besides the bagels) is the fairly large seating area. So you can be one of the lucky ones to spread the Times out on their table and enjoy your schmear outside of the confines of your home.
