I went to Sugar with one of my most fabulous friends because it's supposed to the be latest SF hot spot. I really wanted to like it....the drink menu looks really fun and the bar is strewn with Hershey Kisses and other sugary treats. What's not to like, right?
Apparently, plenty. The drinks average around $9 each and the service was hands-down some of the worse I've ever had. Ever. The female bartender was so busy flirting with male customers, that it took a solid to 15 minutes to get served even though the bar was not even half-full, and when she did pay me some mind, she was outright hostile for no apparent reason.
Let's just say that my first trip to Sugar will definitely be my last.
