Filter has a very relaxed artsy atmosphere with plenty of comfy seating. You will see an ever-changing array of wall art as well as a mixed group of people who just seem to fit. Their prices are good, though they do not take credit cards ( for those who are used to Starbucks). Feel comfortable visiting alone during the day or night to have a cup of coffee and relax. Or bring a friend or date, it's not too loud for conversation. Their coffee drinks are pretty good and they will serve you in a glass or ceramic mug. I really love the feel of this place and i go there as often as possible!
