The Carolina Inn, located on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is charming and historic. It is listed with the National Registry of Historic Places. The inn is owned by the University now, graciously given to the University by its owner, a graduate of the University. Thee Inn was updated in 1996, so it has all the modern amenities, but still retains its charm from days of old.
