I fell in love with Ikea when I was visiting my brother in Atlanta, GA a year and a half ago and I've been gone ever since! When I heard they were opening a store in Michigan, I couldn't wait! I told everyone I knew - I told people I didn't know! I was so excited! I counted down the days till they would open and I was there that morning when they first opened and again that weekend. Apparently half the state was there also. It was like Christmas morning for me - I was in shopping heaven!
The newness has since worn off for some but I still love to shop there every chance I get. I've bought a bunk bed for my son and curtains for my office, among other things! They have so much to choose from, and wonderful ideas for organizing the excess of stuff I seem to have obtained. Picture frames and mirrors now adorn my walls, pillows and a new comforter add to my son's new bed, a toy organizer keeps toys neat in my daughter's room and my kitchen has never looked so neat and organized - and all without breaking my bank account!
