Kasala Furniture Outlet 5/1/2006

We bought a bed and some chairs from the Kasala outlet in SoDo. We like the bed and the chairs, but only because the price for the bed was fair and the chairs were a steal. The prices at their full-price stores are generally too high for the quality. The quality of most items is probably comparable to the mall stores like Crate & Barrel and Pottery Barn. If you are going to spend a lot on furniture, look at McKinnon or even the Fine Furniture Gallery (both in Seattle's furniture district on Western Avenue). At these places you pay high prices for really high-quality furniture and great service. I do like the little things at Kasala, though. They sell a bunch of fun little items in the under $50 range - good gifts. The Kasala outlet has some good items for those who like modern furniture. Like most true outlets, the selection is hit and miss, but at least you pay a fair price (or better) for the furniture. The guy who runs the place is really nice and not the least bit snooty. The prices are appropriate for the quality. Sometimes, there are some great deals. Just don't go on Monday or Tuesday. Hours: Wed-Sat 10:00am-6:00pm Sunday 12:00pm-5:00pm Address: 520 S.
