My mom, 3 year old daughter, and I stayed at Pop Century in February 2006. It was the first time any of us had ever stayed at a Disney property. We fell in love with Pop Century. The staff was wonderful, the rooms were great, the atmosphere was magical! I like to call the decor "delightfully tacky". I loved the huge icons and the brightly colored buildings. The gift shop was fun to browse through and there was a wide variety of foods in the food court. Our best purcahse was the refillable mugs. We purchased 2 of them at $12/each and we more than got our money's worth. You can fill them as many times as you want with pop, apple juice, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and our personal favorite- frozen coke or frozen punch. We would fill them up in the morning and take them to the parks with us (we had a stroller, so we didn't have to carry them). Pop Century has a great bus system. We never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a bus at the resort.
If you're looking for an inexpensive way to stay onsite at Disney, Pop Century is your resort!
