If you can purchase Aurhaus furniture without dealing with their out-of-store customer service, you'll have a much better view of the company. Their store associates are friendly and helpful, and the furniture is quite nice.
I received a chair as a gift and the store associate put a rush on it, so it got to me in 2 weeks. However, when it arrived, it had been made in a completely different fabric than the chair was even sold in. Meaning, you couldn't find this in their catalogs or stores, b/c it was never meant to be a "product." So, the call was put in, and it was found that the manufacturer had made an error, not the sales lady.
The C/S agent I spoke with on the phone told me it would be a great help to the manufacturer if I would just keep it. They would refund about 1/8 of the price if I'd agree to that.
When I told them I'd prefer the original, she told me it would take 4 weeks. Well, 4 turned into 6, and the delivery turned into a 1 & 1/2 day off work mess.
When the chair finally arrived, it had a chip in the leg.
The final replacement is great, but the road it took to get here was far below my customer service expectations.
