Maud Borup produces some of the richest chocolates in town. Unfortunately, their prices have sky-rocketed in the last 4 years.
These chocolates are my girlfriend's favorite. I used to buy her a box of almond bark and dark chocolate caramels a few times a year. Now that prices sometimes top $40 a box, I've been forced to shop elsewhere.
Maud Borup's Grand Avenue store front is well decorated and filled with some of the best chocolate in the midwest.
If you are looking for a more reasonably priced store, try Regina's Candy on Saint Clair Avenue.
