The name of this place kind of embarasses me, and walking into any place this unabashedly hip makes me feel a little inadequate, but, I've always come out happy. Once I've gotten over my insecurity, the hairdressers or whatever are usually pretty friendly, are sensitive to those that don't want to small talk, and follow directions well. More impressive, they can take a non-direction or irritatingly vague direction and turn it into a good haircut. They don't say annoying things like, "Look at these split ends!" but I wish I could find a place where they would give you an opinion on what would look good, when you walk in bored with yourself. That would be a really good place, and I wouldn't even mind it if they had a stupid name.
