In the words of foodlife; “Call it a restaurant, call it an eatery, just don’t call it a food court!” When we go shopping in Chicago, this is the place we go to grab a quick bite before heading home, or back to the hotel. Located in Water Tower Place Shopping Mall, this is an “eatery” unlike any other.
There are stations of various food types. They have names like; Comfort Food, Laser Noodles, Souplife (my favorite), Rotisserie, Eat Greens, Cooking Light, La Vida Mexico and about a dozen others. We find it very convenient because they give everyone in your group a card when you go in. You walk around and select food from any and all of the stations and they swipe the card. Everyone meets up at the checkout, hands in their cards and the cash register totals the entire groups food purchases. The food is much higher quality than the average food court, and yet much less expensive than the typical Chicago restaurant.
