The thing that attracted me to this unnoticeable restaurant on 2nd was a small print out hanging in the window that said "PHO". I have been looking for Pho downtown for a while (with no luck), so i was excited to be able to find it just a few blocks from where I work!
Well I have definitely had better Pho, but I am just thankful to be able to find it downtown that I will probably frequent this place.
I sampled the egg rolls, and they were great!
The rest of the menu looks fabulous with a variety of Thai/Vietnamese dishes.
The Spice Orient is only open until 6:00, so it is primarily for the lunch ad early dinner crowd.
The daily specials are worth checking out (M-Chicken Phad Thai, Tu-Cashew Nu, W-Ginger Chicken, Th-Lemongrass Dish, F-Geang Gal).
