I'm not sure why I like Timberlakes. The beer is a bit expensive for the decor, the selection is limited, the good food is limited to the delicious onion strings and croque monsieurs, and the jukebox is one of those horrid internet-based contraptions. But the service is charming and the bar is large and welcoming, and it seems full of long-time customers, so I can take comfort in the fact that I'm not alone in my affection.
