Banks like to charge all sorts of hidden fees for everything. If you are tired of this you might want to consider joining a local credit union. BECU is the credit union that will let you join if you are a Washington state resident. Once you join, you will find that there are no hidden fees and the customer service is great. The only drawback is they are not everywhere and sometimes you get stuck paying atm fees when you are traveling outside the state.
