The front area of this pub has a beautiful, old wood bar, and the shelves are lined with hundreds of beer, all available for the asking. Also check the tap selection, as there's usually something interesting, which changes seasonally. The bartenders are always ready to offer a suggestion if you're overwhelmed.
Also in the front cramped area is a teeny, tiny place for a band to play. And sometimes there is one.
Go in the back to shoot pool and sit at an old booth, or to order food from the deli next door through the hole in the wall. Or keep going to the outside for a huge and lovely patio.
