I love Bob's so much. It's more Taiwanese than Chinese in terms of food style. It's always packed and the gracious owner, Bob, is there all the time. He even offered me a chair once to sit in while I was wiating for a table.
The food is consistently great and everything on the menu is terrific - believe me, I've tried most of it. I especially love the oyster omelette and meat pie (ba wan) - both very typical Taiwanese fare. This place is best when you have a big group since many of the dishes are meant to be shared.
You must finish off dessert with shaved ice. If you've got room, get the large one - it's monstrous and delicious!
