This week-long "day camp" at Alvin Community College is great. Geared toward children up to 6th grade, you select 4 different classes for your child to attend. The program is a week long, and you have a choice of two different weeks. One of the better ones for older kids is the pottery class. It's awesome! But you have to hurry because this class is very limited and it's on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you are looking for something to help keep your child busy this summer, check this program out.
