I switched form another company to Ackerman. The system was ok, and Ackerman could have used it to protect our home. But, I was convinced to upgrade it to a newer system. Do the math, the Ackerman system is less that the 'free' ones and 10 times more capable. All I can say is; WOW! I did not know we could incorporate a complete remote access services to our security system. I now get a text message when my kids come home from school. I can also operate some of our lights with the key pads. I can access all of the system's functions and controls from my cell phone. The other companies we looked at are operating in the dark ages. Yes, our system had its bugs. Our Rep. Jim C. was on the job and had the Techs and Field Super. on site and worked out within 4 days. We have not had a problem since, 6 months and going strong. I know if I have a problem, we can count on the people at Ackerman! Looking at the other reviews, I never found anything like these on any other site....
