Bad: I ordered a sale item -- Gingher seam ripper -- online and got an e-mail confirmation from Fabric Depot. After a few days I got a phone call from them saying that they would not be sending it.
I called and spoke to the manager who said that they were discontinuing the item and so they weren't sending it after confirming my order.
They declined to honor my order and were cavalier about reversing themselves and did nothing to resolve the problem.. Improvements: Fabric Depot appears not only to be unreliable, but does not care whether they inconvenience customers.. Other: I live on an island and it is expensive to get to the mainland. I'd been there two days after the order was confirmed and so did not go to another fabric store to check out the year-end sales.
My experience says DON'T order online from Fabric Depot; customer service seems to be at the bottom of their list..
