I'm the type to change doctors frequently if I feel uncomfortable or unsatisfied with someone. That's how I stumbled upon Dr. Shirlene Moten at Southside Family Practice. Don't let the name fool you ~ Dr. Moten is the only physician at the practice.
I really love Dr. Moten's accessibility. Whenever I've had a problem that required a doctor's visit, her office will work me in either that same day or the next. The only problem with this is that when I do have an appointment made in advance, the worked-in patients tend to make the waiting room wait a long one ... and with only one doctor on staff, it's long indeed.
But Dr. Moten has a great bedside manner, and I enjoy seeing her. I'd recommend her to anyone (and have, several times, to my mom, who is stubborn and doesn't change doctors the way I do). I plan to stay with Dr. Moten for a while.
