I love Dr. Moten. She has helped me out a lot since my husband has gotten stationed in virginia. The doctor she recomended to wasn't very nice but she herself is awesome. She is a very good listener and she can make your visit very enjoyable. more

I have to agree Dr. Moten is the best. She and her office staff are very professional. She is thorough and a good listener. Even the specialists that she's associated I need a doctor who wants to hear all my problems so I don't have to keep coming back. Dr. Moten does an exceptional job. I'm not the type to change doctors except when I'm dissatisfied. I'm not leaving Dr. Moten. I'm more than satisfied. more

I'm the type to change doctors frequently if I feel uncomfortable or unsatisfied with someone. That's how I stumbled upon Dr. Shirlene Moten at Southside Family Practice. Don't let the name fool you ~ Dr. Moten is the only physician at the practice. I really love Dr. Moten's accessibility. Whenever I've had a problem that required a doctor's visit, her office will work me in either that same day or the next. The only problem with this is that when I do have an appointment made in advance, the worked-in patients tend to make the waiting room wait a long one ... and with only one doctor on staff, it's long indeed. But Dr. Moten has a great bedside manner, and I enjoy seeing her. I'd recommend her to anyone (and have, several times, to my mom, who is stubborn and doesn't change doctors the way I do). I plan to stay with Dr. Moten for a while. more
