The Lagoon Theater was a great addition to the Uptown area. Better yet the theater was a great addition to Minneapolis. The basic high demand every day movies are not what this theater is about. Instead, you are treated a collection of high quality foreign and or independent films. It's seems perfect that this style of theater is in Uptown. When looking for something to do, take it look at this theater's selections for something different. Most of the films are quite notable and worthy of showing even if the big mega plexes do not carry them. And actually, I'm glad they don't .
