This park has the scariest rides (X and Deja Vu) in the area, and also mediocre rides (Viper, Revolution, etc). There is even a large section of the park for the kids and Bugs Bunny.
Admission can usually be found for cheap through all of the coupons floating around. Expect prices to be about $25 for adults, even in the summer. This year, they had a deal where until about April or so, if you bought a full price ticket (~$48), you could get a whole year for free. Not a bad deal at all, and you can still go to the "Fright Fest" they hold in October.
The best thing about Six Flags is that the park is so big that you can spend the whole day there. There are no fireworks or night programs, but the rides light up and are very fun in the dark.
