refrigerator caught fire DVD came out to replace the compressor that was repairable, while trying to remove the compressor the technician broke the copper pipe and then advised the refrigerator is now not repairable and we need a new one. DVD is stating it is out of warranty and it is a manufacturer defect. The technician never said anything about the pipe being defective (on first visit 2 weeks prior or during current visit) until after he broke it. Frigidaire will not cover since technician faulty work caused the pipe to break and DVD will not replace our refrigerator. We had to purchase a new refrigerator. The service head Amanda Taylor tried to claim it was going to break anyways. Do not do business with these people!!! more
