I waited 10 hours on a service technician to come to my house to do a service call. When I contacted supervisor they would not give me a discount or refund for the call. They stated over and over that this is their policy that they cannot refund money. obviously they do not care about the inconvenience to their customers. Their warranty is for the birds. I will not be using this company in the future RESPONSE FROM Dick Van Dyke Appliance World: I apologize that your latest service request was less than you expected. I was shocked to learn that you waited 10 hours for our services. We offer a variety of options to help everyone with their busy lifestyle. Our call center representatives offered you a 30 minute call to meet. The majority of our customers’ love the flexibility of not having to wait at home all day for our services. We call them 30 minutes before our arrival and they meet us at their home. Our warranty is one of the best in the industry. We give our customers’ a five year 10 year warranty when they purchase a qualifying appliance. Our warranty pays for all parts and labor for any mechanical failure. The 10 year warranty will cover the cost of the major component. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused during your last service request.
