We purchased a side by side Whirlpool refrigerator in 2011. Within the year, we had two repairs on a freezer line that kept freezing up. Three weeks ago, the fan started making awful noises. Called in for a repair. Tech came out the next day and said he'd order a new fan. Week or more later he arrived with new fan, but turned out it was the wrong fan. Said he'd have to reorder. This was Friday before Memorial Day weekend. Friday night the ice thawed, the refrigerator warmed up. Saturday morning I had a mess. All of our food is stored at a neighbor's house. We're living out of ice chests. If on the initial visit the tech had expedited the delivery of the fan and if the correct fan had been delivered none of this would have happened. As it is we had to cancel our weekend guests because there was no way we could entertain with no refrigerator/freezer. It is now the 4th day of not having a refrigerator.
