I have a older Mazda 2003. It started to have transmission slipping problems I live in the Kearny Mesa Area and check out a total of 3 shops in the area. End up going to dr. trans Chris the manager there was up front and didn't give me good news just to give me bad latter. He gave me three options one was just fixing the parts inside the other was a rebuilt transmission and the other a new transmission as with everything it's a cost to what you want out of my 10 year old Mazda so I chose to get a rebuilt transmission it cost me about 1800 bucks to have dr trans put it in and it’s been going strong for about a year now. The other day I thought I ears a noise coming from my transmission so I stopped by Dr Trans and had them take a look at it. Turn out it was a wire that stuck on some how on my drive shaft, how I don’t know. Chris remove it N/C and I was on my way. Nice that why the shout out and good review for dr trans.
