I work in the neighborhood and just stumbled on this salon. I went in, explained what I wanted and came out looking FABULOUS!! Rosa did my hair the first time I went there and I was so satisfied, I returned the following week. I was a bit skittish because Rosa was busy and Cynthia assisted on my hair but it came out better than the first week. When I returned a third time, Rosa gave me to Cynthia and I have been seeing her every week since then. I was especially impressed when I was advised against getting a costly relaxer or Brazilian straightening treatment because as long as I get it done, my hair stays straight, smooth, and soft. I truly appreciated that because I can continue to wear my curls when I feel like it without stressing or damaging my hair. Most other stylists would encourage you to go for the up-sell in order to increase the day's take but not them. They actually take your hair, and your REAL needs into consideration. Not only do they KNOW about hair, they care about the health of your hair, the products they use, and are very clear and upfront about everything. Also, I have a good time each time I go - they have such a happy environment in their shop.\r
