I have sold cars in the past.I have over 10 years of experience from everything from reputable dealers to junk lots.i have never had the experience i had today at Swantsy's.Me and my wife went in looking for a larger vehicle and we saw and test drive a conversion van.We filled out the short info sheet aka credit ap. the guy came in with 3 offers o.k that is the norm. Then after me and my wife talk it over and made the decision the salesman say's he can not do the deal and wanted a down payment. As i said i have sold cars in the past and i have never heard of them coming in with a offer they can not do.Usually when you go offer a customer a deal it is because you ran their credit and get pre approval. To me it is so unprofessional to make offers you can not live up to.
