Swantys Chry-Ply-Dodge

Bought a vehicle out of the area as Swanty's usually asks several thousand more dollars for the same vehicle, anyways purchased at Jim Click Dodge in Tucson and I love my new Ram 1500 but it had some paint defects I noticed on the final walk around of sales date. Anyways I thought warranty work could be done at any dealership with the same courtesy, and I was wrong as I went to my local Dodge dealer for the warranty work and it was not a pleasant experience at all. I jumped through all the required hoops only to find they would not offer a rental vehicle of any kind for the 5-7 days needed to repaint the affected areas of the truck. After calling Chrysler to get the rental vehicle approved they said that was all up to the particular dealership, I thought that was weird as I don't expect the dealership to have to use there funds for something that should be covered under warranty. Anyways I received a call back from Chrysler that said swantys found I was too demanding and they would like for me to take my business elsewhere. I would just like to say the lady in charge of warranty work was very difficult to work with and was gassed or apalled especially after asking for a rental vehicle while my vehicle was in for warranty work. This is my Moms truck and of course that also was a issue for the dealership but my mom isn't up to dealing with this stuff at the age of 70s. I don't recommend Swantys for any services even though my parents had purchased vehicles at this dealership the last 30 plus years. more

I have sold cars in the past.I have over 10 years of experience from everything from reputable dealers to junk lots.i have never had the experience i had today at Swantsy's.Me and my wife went in looking for a larger vehicle and we saw and test drive a conversion van.We filled out the short info sheet aka credit ap. the guy came in with 3 offers o.k that is the norm. Then after me and my wife talk it over and made the decision the salesman say's he can not do the deal and wanted a down payment. As i said i have sold cars in the past and i have never heard of them coming in with a offer they can not do.Usually when you go offer a customer a deal it is because you ran their credit and get pre approval. To me it is so unprofessional to make offers you can not live up to. more

Started to locate and purchase a new vehicle. For whatever reason they were unable to locate the exact vehicle in Arizona, which I quickly located.. They originally came in with a much higher price and were unable to get the vehicle in question. On 2 occasions the salesman called back and apologized for his attitude on previous calls. He subsequently contacted the dealership I eventually purchased the vehicle from and said he discussed the price which I had negotiated with Swanty. He told me that he thought he was doing me a favor by doing that? The salesman had previously assured me that he would not discuss any deal and I had only disclosed to him the dealer who had the vehicle I wanted, based on his promise. more

I have only good to say about this business. They gave me a fantastic deal on the Chrysler Van that I bought there two years ago, and the service department has always be courteous, helpful, friendly, and honest in my dealings with them regarding maintenance and buying of parts. They never sell me parts I don't need, and offer only recommendations and not pushy tactics. Mike, in the Service Dept. is who I usually deal with, (though the others are wonderful too), he is great and very honest. I appreciate that very much. Also, the service is very reasonably priced and I have never felt I was overcharged, in fact, surprised at how great the prices are for maintenance. Great place, and a great bunch of people there...and I highly recommend dealings with this business. Pros: Great service, Honesty, Friendly, Caring, Great prices Cons: Waiting room could be a tad larger.....have no real cons about this business more
