We had an emergency and since St Paul Vet had great hours and walk-in service, I brought in my dog in who had signs distress. After signing the payment forms to ok the costs of the x-rays (you have to do this before they do anything common practice I guess but it gets worse) They confirmed that he needed surgery and that he needs surgery now. But first here is the cost, 1200 to 1800. Reasonable I admit but again, they need payment BEFORE the surgary can be done. Since I don't use credit cards and I would have to transfer the money to my account it would take 1 to 2 days for the transfer to take place. After wasting 45 mins the vet stated that maybe they can take half as a down payment and will check with the owner. I stated great, I can give you half now and when the transfer takes place I will give them the remainder then.
