I called for an appliance repair in December. A "repairman" was sent to look at the appliance and diagnose what was wrong. I was charged $25 to be told what the problem was. I received a call the next day (voice message) saying the part needed was on back order and that they would have it in 5-7 working days and if I had questions to call. After 14 days, I called a different appliance repair store. I informed them that someone had already come out and was told that the needed part was on back order, and that I never heard from them again. The person I was talking to asked me -- can I ask if this was Dick VanDyke?? I was very surprised. I said as a matter of fact - YES it was. She informed me that they get more calls of this nature than they can believe about DVD. They sent out a repairman to look at my appliance -- what Dick VanDyke told me was wrong was INCORRECT. This place fixed my dryer that day and I saved over $100 based on the estimate DVD quoted me. I highly suggest NOT using Dick VanDyke for any repairs.
