Make sure you know how much you're paying upfront. I was told ""We'll bill your insurance"" when I asked during scheduling and again on the day of. I learned 3 months later that I was billed $185 for a 50 min acupuncture/massage session (where the therapist, Mary Ann Petersen, used cooking oil). My insurance paid $56 and I was responsible for the rest. No wonder why they dodged the fee question! I got the condescending ""It's very simple..."" explanation from Mary Ann when I asked. I swallowed my pride, paid the fee, and felt duped - especially so since I gave a large tip. Definitely not worth it and definitely not going back. On a positive note, the scheduling and billing staff were very nice.
