In 2010, I had the same experience as another person on here. I took in 3 females to get spayed, referred by an animal organization.\r
All three became infected.\r
I found out from not one but two people with experience working with the doctor, that he has a habit of not disinfecting instruments.\r
Never ever again and I warn everyone.\r
I've spayed many many other cats through 4 other vets and not one has gotten an infection.
