On May 24th, I became one of the 5 contestants in Kool 105.5 Slimmer Summers Contest. As part of the contest we were all enrolled in the weight loss program at Diet & Weight Loss Center in Palm Beach Gardens. Their staff is wonderful. Shaw immediately made me feel comfortable as well recorded all my initial measurements. Then Claudia went through all the details and made sure I had everything I needed to get started. She followed up with me over the phone twice the next week to make sure I wasn?t having any problems and all was going well. I was totally amazed that I lost 14 pounds in my first week. By the end of the 4 week I lost over 28 pounds. The staff continues to encourage me and help keep me on the path to losing all the weight I needed to lose. At the end of the contest on July 4th, they lined the 5 of us up to see who had lost the biggest percentage of weight. It was amazing to see how much we had all lost and the top three of us were very close. When they finished telling all the number I had lost over 44 pounds in 6 weeks and WON the contest.
