Bought a Speed Queen dryer a year ago and it broke within 24 hours. It was repaired quickly. Bought a 2nd Speed Queen dryer last week and it broke within one week. Wasn't serviced the same day we called, the day after we called, but two days later I had to call to see if we were even on the schedule for repair. As of this writing, still not fixed. I don't feel like buying from DVD gave us any priority when my dryer broke down within the first week. Bummer!! RESPONSE FROM Dick Van Dyke Appliance World: Thank you for sending in your survey addressing some of your concerns with our company. I apologize for the inconvenience of having a new appliance fail to operate so suddenly. I have checked with my staff and it appears that we arrived on July 12 at four thirty in the afternoon to repair the appliance. We were unable to connect with you on the 12th to repair the appliance, but we were able to reschedule your service for July 13 before 9am. As of the writing of this letter your Speed Queen dryer is functioning normally. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience you may have experienced as a result of this incident.
