I have used Dicksons heating and air conditioning for several air conditioners over the years and have had great service. Recently, they were sold to another air conditioning and heating company. When I called the company to have a 10 month old A/C unit fixed, I was told that they didn't honor prior Dicksons customers. when a rep came out to look at the unit I was then told that it would cost $1200 to fix the unit that I had bought for $2800 just 10 months prior. They then said they would reduce the fee to $868. I then called Mitsubishi and got several referrals. Zimmer Air and Heating came out today and fixed the problem for $259. I assume that the company that bought Dicksons has scammed so many people with their old name that they bought a company with a good reputation so they can start ripping people off under a new name.
