I was a bride at Louisiana Castle on June 14th, 2012. It rained on my wedding day and my ceremony was pushed back an hour. You would think that it would also push back my reception, but it did not. My ceremony was held in front of food in the ballroom.(Most distasteful!) Everyone, except for the director, was the most unproffessional and rude staff I've ever met. I had until 11p.m at least and they kicked everyone out in a rude manner at 10:40p.m. They told my family that they could not go home until they ""got out."" It was supposed to be my day, not theirs. I don't care if you get tired and want to go home, my family traveled from all around the country to see me! My memories of my wedding day will be met with anger for this place and sheer disappointment. The food was most certainly pulled out of boxes and bags. (mainly the Betty Crocker ""potato gratin"") Food is my business and what I received on my wedding day was a disgrace! The only thing I was not disappointed by were my flowers, the man I married and the good company of close family and friends who traveled far and wide to witness a memorable occassion. I know I deserved beter than what I received and payed for!
