My husband and I have been going to Margie Beegle Estate Sales for the last five years. I've always enjoyed myself and found them to be great estate sales. The Beegles are discriminating about which sales they will accept (They usually only do sales with lots of stuff to sell.). They can do this because they have a great reputation and are contacted by many people wanting to use their services. This is very nice for the buyer, because there's lots to peruse and consider. I'll agree that sometimes their prices might be a little high on a few items, but most of the time the prices are very reasonable. In response to some of the complaints I've read here...of course the prices start out higher and get discounted as time goes on. That's the nature of a short-term sale! The people who want the best selection have to be willing to pay more. By the second day, the sale has been picked over by those willing to pay more for the things they really want, so they start offering overall discounts to sweeten the pot. Also, no one can know something about everything. This is especially true when we're talking about other peoples' things, and keep in mind that it's not usually even the person whose things are being sold that is using the Beegles' service...it's probably their family. I really like Jennifer. I think she's kind and funny, and it's always a pleasure to see her again. I hope to get the opportunity to attend many more Margie Beegle Sales in the future.
