I terminated my management agreement with Anthony Campagna several months ago.
Below are my reasons.
1. He violated the terms of agreement by spending more than the $400 of my money without my consultation for a particular repair.
2. He was very instrumental in causing a long term tenant of mine to move due to his careless disregard to tenant concerns, insensitivity and incredible rudeness.
3. Reckless nature with spending money for unnecessary repairs without any discussion with me.
4. His operation is all family making me question their checks and balances and who to trust and where the problems lay.
5. When questioning his annual $50 fee (per unit) for a insurance policy for Campagna's benefit, I was told thats the way it is. I once asked Anthony how many properties he managed and was told 4 to 500.
After calculating $50 times 450 properties, I quick realized how lucrative this insurance policy is for him.
Ultimately realizing that he is not looking out for my best interests but his own.
I had read and heard the negativity about him and his firm and had dismissed it but wish I had done more research. Spend an hour with him in his office and it it startling to behold.
I can save my $100 for my 2 units and hire someone more ethical, respectful and caring of others, most notably my tenants and with more concern for my investment.
