I wish I had joined Positive Changes 20 years ago. I have gone thru gastric weight loss surgery only to get to within 40 pounds of my goal and gone back to poor eating habits. I have done the liquid diet, Atkins diet, Medifast, low carb, low fat, name it ...I tried it. Sure I would lose but then go back to my old ways of eating. \r
Positive Changes has taught me to think and eat like a naturally thin person. That is what I needed, my mind is doing the work. I am not on a diet, I eat like a naturally thin person. Nothings tastes as good as being healthy and thin feels.\r
My eating habits have dramatically changed. I used to drink a 6 pack of diet pop daily. In 3 months I have not even had the equivolent of that. I have lost 36 pounds in 3 months. My shirts are falling off my shoulders. My portions are smaller, no drive thru eating, I read about nutritionand read labels. I mindfully eat only when I am hungry and don't snack. There is no desire to do those old habit routines.\r
My job at Kaiser Permanantee has a huge Thrive campaign going on now called You Gotta Move and you know, I am ready to start exercising! I will be successful! Positive Changes is working for me!
