So my fiance is new to the Miami area and during my recent visit we got a restaraunt.com gift card to this place as the other reviews were really positive. When we walked up to this place there was not one other diner in the whole place at 8pm so I was a little skeptical. However, after dinner, my skepticism was GONE! Great food! Great, intimate service! The owner really takes the time to talk to you and I got the sense that she would still take that time if the dining room had been bustling. The pine nut spread for the bread is amazing! The brandy veal chop was rich and delicious with a good selection of crisply cooked veggies on the side. My fiance had ravioli and cleaned his entire plate. The tiramisu rivaled my all-time favorite tiramisu. And the suggested bottle of wine was really fantastic, as the owner pinpointed the perfect bottle from our rather less than wine saavey descriptions. I don't know why this place isn't packed every Friday night, but I will definitely be back on my next Miami trip!
