Tango's has very good food. It is lacking in too many other areas, though. It is lacking in some basic dishes like baked ziti which is requested often and surprisingly, the owner has no idea what it is. The ambience is really cozy and nicely done. The service is not good. We have to continually ask for things, sauce, refill our drinks, ketchup, sugar, the check, etc. They are also so stingy. You are given one sugar packet with coffee, very little ketchup for fries. The chicken nuggets on the kids' menu are overpriced and are not real chicken and they have no honey mustard. With soup you are given a very small roll, only one. I asked for another and was first told that I could buy a half dozen more. In the end, I was given a second roll. There is no parmesan on the table, it was put on my soup for me. The dessert pictured in their menu is not the same as the one they serve. I found it interesting that they'd not had the strawberry topping and offered strawberry syrup instead... and still offered to charge me for that extra roll?! Also, I don't understand why the waiter must have an cell earpiece on while working. The owner's phone ringing all kinds of clashing ringtones was also annoying. And, when we were there, the place was empty but tables were dirty. Our table had two placemats set aside which the waiter never bothered to set for us. It is a shame that this restaurant with great ambience and good food is not very customer oriented. We have been there several times and it is more disappointing each time. When I compare it to the other local Italian joints, Tango's misses the mark. I wonder if they've other been to another Italian restaurant in the area. Perhaps they should, they'd see how they could improve. more
