I had finished a 12 and a half hour shift at my job new years eve. I got home to my apparntment complex and all the spots were full except a few that were reserved, but it was already midnight and they are usually open. I woke up to the sound of a tow truck and saw my truck being pulled around the corner. I chased after the guy, and then ran back to call the police after he drove off. I found out they they didn't call the police before they towed it like they are supposed to, and when I called the guy who towed it he lied and said he called before he left and that he stopped and put my truck on the flatbed which he sure didn't do there. I asked if I could get it back then, but he refused. He could answer a phone there and set up an appointment for me to pick it up like an hour later for an extra $70. I explained that I'm a poor college kid that works 2 jobs and goes to college full time and I had work in half an hour and needed that car. He said that sucks and was very rude. That is my lifeline since one of my jobs is a delivery boy for dominoes. Now I have to have my roommate take 14 miles to pick up my car and it's going to cost me $244.90 This is just plain unfair and stupid.
