I just got Davis Vision, and learned that my former eye doctor (Shewsbury Eye Care- fantastic people!) would no longer be able to take my insurance. So I found Bello through Davis, and since it was close by, I figured I would go there. After all, how hard can it be to get an annual exam and order contacts?? Apparently, it is very,very, very hard. I went to Bello THREE times in an attempt to get my contact lenses. I still do not have them, and I will not be going back. The 1st time I went, they acted as though they had no knowledge of my appointment and could not seem to comprehend that I needed to attend my (scheduled) exam. After waiting for about 20 minutes, the Dr. was ready for me. The Dr. was awkward, and seemed nervous for some reason. He sat and looked at me blankly after the exam was done until I got up on my own accord and let myself out of the room. Odd. I had issues with the trial pair, as they gave me the WRONG prescription. They argued with me when I called to tell them that I could not see properly, and stated that I ""must be wrong because that is impossible."" They also told me that I was having trouble seeing with those contacts because I am getting old. I am 26. When I went to get my 2nd trial pair, the staff took my glasses off of my face and walked away with them without warning me or telling me why. They handed me the trial pair at the front desk and said ""here, put these in,"" in the middle of the waiting room. I asked if I could wash my hands, and perhaps have access to a mirror. They seemed annoyed and pointed me towards the bathroom. There was no soap, nor any paper towels in the bathroom. This was a MAJOR concern to me. NASTY. Each time I had to call or go there, the staff were disorganized and it took several minutes for them to locate my information. They were unprofessional, and told me that I would have to be patient with them because they didn't ""want to half ass anything."" Which is ironic, because this whole place seems pretty ""half ass"" to me. My recommendation: Don't waste your time. I have no waited 1 &1/2 months for contacts that I am not getting through Bello. I am taking my business elsewhere, and I suggest you do the same. more
