As for ""Whirlies2001"" comment. Our technician provided a correct and honest diagnosis that your gas valve had to be replaced. He did not destroy your unit. The tech left the unit off while he was waiting for a diagnosis on the repair. Your unit was never left in pieces, other that the wires and cover to the gas valve left off the failed part. \r

We scheduled your visit in the only time frame your tenant had available and we did not delay responding to the service call. \r

As for having to ""hire another company to repair what we screwed up"", You called us to look at the A/C, we were out at the home this morning turning the unit back on. Nothing was ""screwed up"" other than the faulty gas valve that we already diagnosed. \r

We provided a quote to replace the failed part and offered you a estimate to replace the 27 years old gas furnace. \r
