Distinctive has cleaned our house for almost 3 years now (every 3 weeks they come). For 2 years we were very pleased with their work, almost always tipping $20+ for a good job. Occasionally the cleaner was late but she usually called to tell us when she would arrive and it only happened like once a year. We were pleased because they generally did a pretty good job (not *stellar* but good) for the price and we usually had the same girl and we liked her. Recenlty something has changed. Each cleaning we have someone new, or the cleaner has been late, not called or simply not shown up, done a poor job, or was rediculously slow at it because she talked on the phone the whole time. I hate when Distinctive reschedules our cleaning because of lateness or whatever. I can understand that things happen (sickness, car issues), but it has been so frequent lately it leaves me wondering if they are trying to get rid of us as a client. We have 6 people in our house (3 kids) and make a big effort to pick everything up and put everything away before our cleaning so the cleaner can actually clean things in a reasonable amount of time. It is not easy or fun to redo that task because they didn't show up. I hope they get their act back together and hire some good workers. I really don't want to have to find another service.
