My husband and I ordered 6 framed pieces of artwork from crate and barrel. We took it here to have wires put in the back for hanging. About 2 weeks later, one of the frames fell off the wall, damaging the art and the baseboard of our apartment. When we went back to the store both Hasan and Golan refused to accept responsibility for incorrectly installing the wires in the back, instead blaming the quality of the frame. The other 5 are still hanging out the wall with no problems, so clearly there is fault on their part. They only refunded us $30 for over $100 of product we need to purchase again. In addition, Hasan was BEYOND rude when we first went in to address the issue. What is most frustrating is I have given them over $350 worth of business matting and framing my undergraduate and graduate school diplomas. You think they would have a bit of customer loyalty. Needless to say, we will not be going back here even though we live right next door to the store. My advice to New Yorker-get some better customer service and loyalty-and get rid of Hasan because he is rude to customers. more
