First, let me start by saying that I had lived in Charlotte for 2.5 years before I found Serendipity and tried several hair salons (including Modern Salon & Spa) that all ended in disaster. My hair is REALLY thick, heavy, long and curly and the only ones I ever went to before were Dominican Hair Salons in New York (yes, I am Dominican also).
